 Hey guys, it's been a while, but we've finally gotten an approved cover from the author!

Daniel Lucas' debut novel, The White Raven Saga: The Price of Fire will release August 5, 2024!

Unfortunately, several noble heirs are jealous of his skills. In spite of their plots, Karniel rises through the ranks, advancing faster than any other new recruits. Despite his humility, several of his noble peers still see him as an outsider and do everything in their power to disgrace him.

Sick of Karniel’s continued growing prestige, his jealous noble peers settle on finding ways to get the interloper expelled from the army. Unaware of others’ plans, these nobles set to strike on the Trail of Tears, setting a chain reaction of events that no one will be able to recover from.

Late Spring Cleaning

 Hey all, just figured I better give y'all an update on things.

I've been trying to update the website a bit, some Spring Cleaning, as it were. I have added to author pages for those publishing under the DragonKey Press Banner: Allison Platero and Daniel Lucas. Feel free to check them out.

Publishing-wise, our next release will be The White Raven Saga: The Price of Fire (book one), by Daniel Lucas. This is expected to release August 5th.  Current information for this can be found on our "Books by author authors" page.  I will post more information as we get closer, including a cover reveal.

As for myself, I have started to write a new story, though I'm not yet sure how far I can go with it, or how fast. So, while I've managed to publish a book every year, in my name, that might not happen this year. There's a lot up in the air on that end. But I can say I have adapted many of my YA books into screenplays, one of which I have entered into the Austin Film Festival. I'll let yo know how that goes. It takes place at the end of October.

 Greetings, readers and fans!

It's been a while but I wanted to let you in on some exciting news! My husband's first book, The Price of Fire, will be published later on this year! This is the first book in a series called The White Ravel Saga, and will be available around Summer. (More details on dates, etc, will follow)

In the meantime, here's the general gist of the story, to hopefully get your excited!

The last of the White Ravens must decide whether he wants to destroy the Gods or save them.

 For the first time in a thousand years, Dazmek faces a Heretic, an individual capable of destroying the whole world and its Gods. With the prospect of all hell breaking loose once more, the Council of Four must determine if the man they have in custody is a true Heretic, or just someone wronged by a thousand years of prejudice.
