A light at the end of the tunnel

Greetings all!

Man, this year has been something else, hasn't it? And, for some, it's still far more crazy than any of us want to deal with. But, for others, like me, things appear to be settling down a bit. Yes, folks, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

For those of you who don't know, I live in Dallas, TX. And, with all the craziness that's been going on, I am happy to say that our governor is working to reopen the state's economy. This means I'll soon be able to go out and about with various author events. These live events will start June, with my first post-COVID-19 Kroger appearance.

June:

5th from 9:30 to 2:30 pm: Book Signing at Kroger in Frisco, TX
(12221 Custer Road, Frisco, TX 75035)

However, before that happens, I have released my newest children's book, The Cookies Are Missing!. The official launch party happened last Friday. And, despite some weird glitches on Facebook that made it impossible for me to comment on anything during the even past half time, I think it went well.

Well, now it's time for the official blog tour. (After all, we're not quite back up to par just yet with all of reopening stuff.)

The official online tour begins May 4th, with a central "hub" event page that can be found here.  I would love to see you guys participate and possibly win a prize.

Please note, this new book is geared to younger audiences, so a slightly lower reading level than my previous children's books, though I'm sure older children will also get a kick out of it, and the recipe in the back.

To be perfectly honest, beyond these two events, I'm not sure what else I'll be doing just yet, as each city, county, and state slowly gets back to "business as usual". I hope to have more events to announce soon, but if not, please know that I think of all of my readers and hope you're all doing okay.

In fact, for those of you who are still stuck at home, I'm going to go ahead and share that recipe with you now. I would love to see pictures of you and your little ones making these, or to at least know how they turned out! Feel free to let me know in the comments!
