Heading into December

Hey all. I just wanted to give everyone a quick hello and let you know that the prices I advertised on my books for Black Friday will continue up until Christmas!

Also, I wanted to let you know that I will soon be revealing the cover for my newest book, which comes out in April, Tarragon: Dragon Mage. So please join the event! Or, if you want a peak at it sooner, sign up for my newsletter, which will be released only once a month from here on out, unless there's a contest or special announcement I need to make.

In the meantime, here's a bit of a teaser for you.

Giving Thanks

Since this is the month where most people tend to give thanks, and I've already said a few words on my Facebook page, I'd like to add a few more words on the subject.

I am thankful for all those who support me now, in the past, and who will in the future. It means a lot to me to know there are people out there who like what I write and who will share that with others.

I am thankful for the opportunity to actually put my work out there. I know there are a lot of writers who have yet to get published. Some don't know what direction to take. Some are waiting on tenterhooks for an answer from an agent or editor. And some don't even know where to begin.

I am thankful for the talents I have. I know not everyone can do what I do. And there are people out there who can do things I can't even begin to imagine, as much as I'd love to be able to do some of those things. But I am thankful for what I do have, an ability write, edit, and put my words out there for the world to read.

I am thankful for family and friends. Without their support, I wouldn't be where I am now. I probably would not have started to publish my work, and I definitely would not be attempting to start my own publishing company. Or be as busy with fan fiction writing as I am with my own fiction writing. I'm looking at my husband on this one. ;)

I am thankful that I live where I do. Because of that, I have the ability to explore my dreams and talents in ways many are denied. I wish it were different, and that everyone could go after what they're good at, not because they have to but because they want to.

And I am thankful for technology, which allows me to keep in touch with family, friends, and fans, and to help promote my works.

To everyone, Thank You!
