A little tidbit to tide you over

Greetings all!

Tis mid-week today, and summer has officially begun, which means it's roasty toasty in Texas, along with other places. I do not envy those currently living in those places.

So, let's see if we can't cool summer down just a tad, shall we? One of my favorite past times during summer is staying indoors and reading. So, I'm going to discount my ebooks to 1.99 for the rest of this month and through July. That gives you three options, at least from my shelves, for you to check out, if you haven't already. And, by all means, look at all the other awesome and wonderful books out there, because there are many.

So, here's the menu for you.

An icy treat. While some consider this more of a Winter Holiday book, I think it's good for any season.

Marie never expected to wake up in North Pole City, let alone become Santa’s Emergency Replacement. It was a job she never wanted but couldn’t turn down, thanks to Clarence, Santa’s right hand man. Now, Marie has to work with Clarence, who believes she is some kind of criminal who will cause the destruction of everything he holds dear.
Trying to prove that he’s wrong, Marie keeps making mistakes that push them even further apart. It doesn’t help that she has a past she’d rather keep hidden. However, trying to keep her past where it should belong isn’t easy.
Just when Marie starts to feel like things are coming together, a madman with a bone to pick, and Christmas to ruin, threatens the whole of the North Pole Organization. Marie must rely on Clarence and her new friends to help her face her past before Christmas is gone forever. But does she have the courage to truly be herself when it could mean losing everything?

For those who like an adventure that will tie you up in knots, just for a bit, and take you on a rather crazy adventure, we offer this:

Most teenagers don’t have a voice talking in their heads, but that’s pretty normal for Kas. It’s been there her whole life, giving her directions, keeping her from harm. When the voice advises against the family picnic in the mountains, she’s sure there’s a reason, but convincing her mom is another matter.

While in the mountains, Kas accidentally stumbles on a gateway to another dimension. Almost immediately, her life is in peril. From a disembodied man known only as Milord and a hoard of hooded men who want her soul, she doesn’t know who to trust in this strange place where dreams become reality.
As Kas learns more about who she is and how she came to the Waymeet of Worlds, it becomes clear that someone is lying to her. But is it the voice she’s known her whole life or the new friends she finds in Milord’s castle. Choosing the wrong people to trust could cost her soul and prevent her from fulfilling her destiny.

And finally, if you're cup of tea is more along the lines of adventure and dragons, mages and secrets, we offer up this:

For hundreds of years, the gates of Tarragon have been sealed from the outside. Prophecy speaks of the day the last Key Keeper will return and wake the dragons from their spell-cast slumber, returning them to their rightful home.

Seeking to fulfill her father's dying wish, Anwen Porter travels to the Drakonii Mountains where she meets Tyler, a mysterious local with a secret. With his help, she learns more about her clouded past and her own abilities. But when Courtney, a lovesick mage, tries to insert herself into their plans, things begin to go horribly wrong.

With death threatening at every turn, Anwen must learn to rely on her newfound friends to survive. But how can she unravel the mystery of her heritage when everything is trying to kill her?

So....

Hey all. Yeah, it's been a while since I last updated. Shame on me for that.

I am a bit disappointed to say that no one has entered my fan art contest. But, if you were planning on entering, don't despair! You can still get something ready for that now because I plan on redoing it later on, just in a couple of months.

We've hit the busy season for me at my day job, unfortunately, which means I'm not getting as much done as I"d like, but it will all happen one way or another.

I just wanted to give a quick head's up that there will be a Great Summer Countdown book blitz, of which I will be a part. So please participate for the chance to win cool prizes! And help support my fellow authors also participating in this event!
